Chapter 01 · The beginning
Different departments. One shared passion.
London Film Club began with a group of friends working across different departments in film. What brought us together was a shared ambition: to connect people and celebrate what they were creating.
Chapter 02 · May · Libra Café, Camden
A screen. A few friends. An unforgettable night.
Our first event took place in May at Libra Café in Camden. We had a screen and ourselves — and an incredible turnout. What followed was a memorable night of films, conversations and new connections.
Chapter 03 · Finding our home
More people. New places. A home at COLAB.
As attendance grew, we tried different venues to find a space that could grow with us. Eventually, we landed at the Gold Bar in COLAB Tower, where we’ve now spent over a year celebrating films and the people behind them.
Chapter 04 · Making it a celebration
A little more magic, every time.
With more people joining us, the evenings grew into something bigger. We added our own red carpet, certificates and trophies — and, of course, free popcorn from our very own popcorn machine.
Chapter 05 · Where we are now
Every month. A new room full of stories.
Today, London Film Club hosts monthly short film festivals to celebrate fantastic work and bring filmmakers and film enthusiasts together. But this is only the beginning.
Chapter 06 · What comes next
The community doesn’t end when the credits roll.
We want to build the biggest film community in London. Our online platform is the next step: a toolkit to connect, learn and grow. And soon, our in-person workshops will bring even more opportunities to develop your craft together.
